Summary:

Online Sales & Business Development

Reporting to the Sales and Operations Manager, the Online Sales and Business Development position is responsible for establishing, negotiating and developing profitable media and vendor relationships. In addition, this position will manage, buy and sell advertising inventory on CPM, CPA and flat rate basis for banners, email, pop-up and other direct response inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify online advertising sales opportunities
  • Buy, sell and manage advertising inventory
  • Monitor delivery of campaigns
  • Identify online media buying opportunities and negotiate tests to determine profitability of online campaigns
  • Negotiate, develop, monitor and manage delivery of booked campaigns on CPA, CPC and CPM models
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Proactively prospect for new clients

Technical Expectations:

Skills Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years experience buying and/or selling interactive display ad units for direct response
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Well-developed negotiation skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Phone selling/cold calling experience
  • Buying/Selling and managing online inventory on a CPM/CPC/CPA or Flat Rate basis is a MUST
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, competitive, and fun environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.  (EXCEL savvy)
