Instaclick is responsible for the development of large scale Internet web sites. We are responsible for evaluation, design, selection and implementation of pragmatic, cost effective technologies, to support our various clients' business models.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Front End Developer with extensive HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills who is capable of working with our client sites and projects
Technical Expectations:
- Knowledge of PHP a plus
- HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Knowledge of mobile/responsive design
- Make use of Regular Expressions.
- We do Flash websites too but Flash is not necessary for this position.
- Read JavaScript the Good Parts, JavaScript Patterns and other cool books
Skills Requirements:
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Experience in developing standards compliant markup, CSS based layouts.
- Capable of hand coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the DOM.
- Understand common cross browser issues and work around them.
- Keep up to date with browser changes and help define browser standards
- Consume APIs and make use of JSON/XML formats efficiently.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/UI libraries and their use in implementing AJAX solution (jQuery is a must, optionally Dojo, YUI, script.aculo.us and many other utility libraries).
- Understanding of SEO and accessibility issues and how they relate to development
- Strong organizational and estimation skills.
- Browser debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, Firebug)
